One of the key aspects to feeding your dog a healthy diet is to properly reading and understanding dog food labels. But due to some controversies in the pet food industry, tricky marketing techniques and pet food recalls, some owners find it hard to trust manufacturers. I wanted to speak with an expert on this subject to shed some light on how dog foods are labeled and how pet owners should read those labels.

I’m once again joined by our regular podcast guest, Dr. Jennifer Adolphe, PhD of Petcurean. She’s a Senior Nutritionist and Registered Dietician who’s here to give us some tips on pet food manufacturing, labels and how to properly read them to understand what’s in your dog’s food.
